WHY YOUR ORGANISATION SHOULD SPONSOR THE IFMA

WHAT IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT COMPETENCY YOUR CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE?

No matter which product your organisation supplies to the farming industry, the answer has to be “the ability to manage their farming activities”.

  • This is as true for the peasant farmer trying to develop into commercial activity as it is for the large farmer or farming company.
  • Small or large the demands on “the manager” have changed and increased in dimension hugely with serious consequences for failure.
  • The avoidance of disease – the safe and appropriate use of chemicals – food safety – food quality – staff – environment – business – marketing – finance – all require better management skills than ever before.
  • Education and training resources are limited – governments in developed countries have reduced their funding – and those in developing countries often lack the resources and will to provide them.

IFMA mitigates these problems by offering a unique resource – Online and via Congresses – for the exchange of knowledge, expertise, ideas and strategies to cope with today’s demands for increased food production, higher quality and greater safety standards.

IFMA knows it can do so much more to help meet the farm management needs of a fast changing world. With your company’s help it will be able to do so.

We hope you will wish to link your company to these objectives and support IFMA in its endeavors to improve farm management world wide! It certainly has an important role to play to meet the world’s needs!
